QPlates
The
QPlate is the consumable measurement plate for all QPatch
systems, and it is available with 16-channels and
48-channels.
QPlates use a silicon chip substrate for patch clamping, and
this allows true-gigaseal recordings.
Each measurement site has a sophisticated glass-coated liquid
flow channel that enables fast and precise solution exchange, and
avoids problems with "sticky" compounds. This makes QPlates ideal
for experiments with both ligand-gated and voltage-gated ion
channels.
QPlate 16X and 48X contain 10 patch holes in parallel per
measurement site while the standard QPlate contains one patch
hole. All QPlates have a 250 μl waste reservoir.
