In collaboration with various cell line vendors, Sophion has the ambition to be able to provide our customers with QPatch optimized cell lines for any ion channel target. In automated patch-clamp research cell quality is a very sensitive factor, and a critical parameter for the overall success rate is high quality of cells with stable ion channel expression. There is an increasing demand for stable cell lines for ion channel discovery, assay development and compound screening in the industry and our cells provide researchers with the best opportunity for short and efficient validation and implementation times for new ion channel targets on QPatch.
QPatch optimized cells are a full package complete with: SOP for cell culture, optimal Ringer’s solutions and experimental protocols for QPatch. All necessary follow-up questions and support via email or telephone is done through your designated Application Scientist, and is free of charge.
While a number of targets and hosts cell strains have been optimized and are commercially ready, the work is ongoing and the list is still expanding. Please make an inquiry for any particular cell line at info@sophion.dk
