QPatch networking
At Sophion Bioscience we make an effort to keep the QPatch users up to date with new developments in the field of automated patch clamp. For example we co-sponsor the Drug Discovery for Ion channels meeting at Biophysics each year and host at least two QPatch user meetings each year – in both Europe and USA. See our Event Calendar for more information. User Meetings are a great opportunity for QPatch users to network and share ideas, tips and tricks with each other and Sophion scientists. Courses are custom-made to fit your needs
Sophion professional QPatch courses are known for their comprehensive content, having an excellent multi-disciplinary program containing hands-on training in all aspects of electrophysiology, with focus on automated high throughput electrophysiology on QPatch. We provide an outstanding opportunity for professionals to get ahead in the field of automated patch-clamp, screening and high-throughput data analysis. Rent-a-resource
Sophion offers a rent-a-resource service to use if complex challenges occur in relation to your QPatch experiments. A Sophion Application Scientist will come to your lab for one or several days,
for example for:
· Training in general electrophysiology
· Training in experiment and assay set-up with QPatch Assay Software
· Training in complex electrophysiological and pharmacological analyses of large data sets using QPatch Assay Software
· Cell culturing; how to optimize your cells for best QPatch performance
· Operating QPatch (for new users)
· Setting up and optimizing experiments for QPatch on a new ion channel target
· Setting up a big screen on QPatch
You can rent-a-resource to help you solve one or more problem, or simply to gain more knowledge. We can either come to your lab, or you can visit ours. We will provide you with a friendly and service-minded Application Scientist that has expert expertise on your particular ion channel challenge.
