Sophion Bioscience increases the management team hiring Niels Willumsen Vice President, Biology. Niels will join Sophion in January 2002.

Niels comes from a research career as associate professor in electrophysiology at the August Krogh Institute at Univ. of Copenhagen and is an internationally recognized scientist within ion channel physiology. During his career, Niels has spent more than four years as visiting professor at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, USA.

Besides Niels J. Willumsen, the Sophion management includes CEO Torsten Freltoft, CTO Morten Bech and Vice President Sales & Marketing Frank Henrichsen.
