QPatch Assay Software
With the QPatch 16 and QPatch HT large data sets are easily obtained. This requires an advanced software package for quick and automatic data handling. The QPatch Assay Software developed by Sophion meet all these requirements. The QPatch Assay Software is designed for setting up QPatch assays and subsequently to analyse the data from experiments on any ion channel. The analysis of data is based on setting up cursors for current measurement followed by selecting different analysis methods and fitting procedures. Once the methods have been chosen for one data set additional data is automatically evaluated with the same methods when included in the analysis project. Read more
Large QPatch expansion in China
Sophion is focusing heavily on the rapidly growing Chinese pharmaceutical market and is placing QPatch systems at the two leading CROs, Shanghai-based WuXi PharmaTech (QPatch HT) and ChemPartner Co, Ltd. (QPatch 16). These two systems are the first automated patch clamp systems placed in the Chinese pharmaceutical industry.
In addition Sophion has appointed DL Instruments exclusive distributor for QPatch in China. DL Instruments has a dominant position in the Chinese market for traditional patch clamp systems and has a sales and support team that includes some of China’s leading electrophysiologists.
